Frequently asked questions
Clear answers.
A confident next step.
Choosing a cleaner means trusting someone with your space. Here’s how we plan the work, agree the details and stay in touch.
01
Choosing your clean
Start with the space and what needs attention.
What types of cleaning do you offer?
We clean homes, offices and other workplaces, guest accommodation and completed building projects. We also assess moving, end-of-lease, property handover and suitable specialist cleaning. Each service page explains the usual scope and practical limits.
Which areas do you service?
We welcome cleaning enquiries in Hobart, surrounding suburbs and Launceston, including regular office cleaning. We confirm the service, scope and availability before booking. Other Tasmanian locations are assessed individually. Include your suburb or town when you enquire.
What if I’m not sure which service I need?
Tell us about the property, its condition and what you want help with. Photos can help explain the work. We can discuss the right starting point and confirm what to include in the quote.
What is the difference between regular and deep cleaning?
Regular cleaning looks after everyday use. A deeper or one-off clean gives additional attention to agreed areas and build-up. The right scope depends on the condition of the property and your priorities; extra detail work needs to be allowed for in the quote.
02
Quotes & booking
Know what is included before you decide.
How do I get a quote?
Send your suburb, the type of property and a few details about the clean. You can use the enquiry form, WhatsApp or email. We may ask for photos or arrange an inspection to understand the work before quoting.
How soon will I receive a quote?
We aim to send your written quote within 48 hours of receiving the details we need or completing an inspection. Some jobs need more information before we can price them properly. If we need more time, we’ll let you know.
How is the cleaning price worked out?
The quote depends on the space, its condition, the tasks required, access and timing. Your written quote sets out the agreed work and price so you can decide whether to proceed.
Does sending an enquiry confirm my booking?
No. An enquiry starts the conversation. We confirm availability, the scope and the practical details before a booking is arranged. An inspection request also needs a confirmed time.
Can I send a message instead of calling?
Yes. A short WhatsApp message or email is fine. Include your suburb and what needs cleaning. If we miss your call, please leave a voicemail or send us a WhatsApp message, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we’re available.
03
Preparing for the visit
Small details help us plan the work around your space.
What should we agree before the clean?
We discuss the rooms, tasks, priorities, timing and access. Tell us about delicate finishes, restricted areas, belongings that should not be moved and anything needing particular care. Where relevant, we also confirm keys and lock-up instructions.
Can you work around allergies, pets or product preferences?
Tell us about fragrance sensitivities, asthma, allergies, children, pets and any products you want us to avoid. Also mention delicate surfaces, septic or greywater systems. We confirm suitable products and methods for the surface and job before the service.
Can you clean around business hours or guest changeovers?
Let us know the hours, access window or time between guests. We assess whether the work can fit the available window before confirming the booking. Availability depends on the property, scope and schedule.
04
Communication & care
An agreed plan and a direct conversation keep the service clear.
How quickly do you reply to messages?
We aim to reply within 1–2 hours during business hours. We may be working at a property when you contact us, so this is a target rather than a guaranteed response time. If we miss your call, leave a voicemail or send a WhatsApp message and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
How do you keep recurring cleaning focused on our needs?
We agree the regular tasks and separate out periodic or additional work. A checklist and feedback help keep attention on your priorities as the space and its use change.
Who do I contact if something needs attention?
Contact us directly about the visit, an area needing attention or a change in priorities. You have one point of contact for the schedule and feedback. If your contact changes, we’ll introduce them and pass on the agreed details. We’ll discuss what needs doing and any changes to the agreed plan.
Where can I learn more about your experience?
Our About page explains the company and our approach to cleaning. It also shows our post-construction experience in Perth operating as Zavvers Cleaning. Those Perth projects are clearly attributed to Zavvers.
